LĪHUʻE, Kauaʻi – june 28, 2025 – Wilcox Medical Center is hosting its 10th annual Keiki Bike & skateboard safety Day today, Saturday, June 28th, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM in the back parking lot (past Same-Day Surgery) at 3-3420 Kūhiō Highway. This free, family-friendly event aims to educate Kauaʻi’s keiki on safe biking and skateboarding practices while fostering a love for outdoor activity.The event offers a range of engaging activities, including a free helmet-fitting station (while supplies last) with helmet decoration, bike safety inspections, skill-building courses, and concussion prevention education. Wilcox employees, volunteers, and community supporters will be on hand to guide children and families through the various safety demonstrations and courses.This event builds on previous successful years, including the 2023 and 2024 celebrations focused on roadway safety and providing essential safety gear.
