Hodson Seizes Prospect for Seat Time
Ayrton Hodson,a Kiwi currently navigating his rookie Super2 season with Anderson Motorsport,eagerly embraced the chance for additional track time. His previous experience in a TA2 Mustang at the Bathurst 6 Hour fueled his enthusiasm.
We raced a TA2 Mustang at the Bathurst 6 Hour with Ashley Jarvis Racing over Easter this year and had an absolute ball, so when Ash called up and asked if we’d like to go again in Perth we jumped at the opportunity.

Hodson emphasized the importance of staying sharp between Super2 rounds and expressed excitement about racing at wanneroo Raceway.
Supercars is where we want to be so I want to get as many miles as I can to stay sharp between Super2 rounds, plus it looks like a great track and we’re looking forward to it.

Nathan Herne, a two-time Trans Am series champion, enters the weekend as a strong favorite. He will be piloting the only Dodge Challenger in the field, adding a unique element to the TA2 grid. Regrettably, local driver Peter George’s second Dodge entry was withdrawn due to engine issues during testing.

Local favorite Robbie Farr,a renowned speedway driver,is garnering important attention as he continues his transition to circuit racing. He hopes his passionate speedway fanbase will come out to support him.
There’s huge support for me and speedway in Western Australia with passionate fans and I’m hoping they come to the track to say g’day as I’m only just starting my ‘flat track’ career and it would great bring them along for the journey with me.

These TA2 cars are great fun and unfortunately I missed the round last weekend in Sydney due to a prior commitment so I’m itching to get back in the car.

Niall Prepares to Defend “kings of the West” Title
The TA2 Kings of the West event, previously held in 2022, saw local driver Brett Niall emerge victorious.Niall acknowledges the increased pace of the competition and anticipates a tough challenge in defending his title.
The pace is certainly faster since we last ran a TA2 Kings Of The West event and looking at the entry list I reckon it will be a massive challenge to defend the title.
