An official source at the Qena General Hospital said that the total number of victims of the accident that stopped a microbus on the east side of Qena Desert Road resulted in the death of 8 people and the injury of 10 others, due to the overturning of the microbus.
The source said the victims were from Dashna Center and were on their way to Hurghada Airport to receive the body of one of their relatives who died in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The security services in Qena received information that a minibus had overturned on the Qena-Safaga road due to excessive speed, killing 8 people and injuring 10 others.
20 ambulances were dispatched to transport the victims and injured to Qena General Hospital to provide the necessary health care.
A report was prepared about the incident, and the public prosecution was contacted to start an investigation.
